I’ve been obsessed with glass since 2006. What started as a casual class turned into a full-blown love affair with melting, fusing, cutting, and shaping glass into all kinds of colorful creations. There’s just something magical about turning bits and pieces into something beautiful.
Texas Glass Girls grew out of that love and a long friendship with another glass-loving creative. Together, we wanted to build a space that celebrates the art of glass in all its forms, while also making it feel a little less intimidating. You don’t need to be a pro to enjoy working with glass. You just need curiosity, a bit of patience, and maybe a band-aid or two.
Here, we share our projects, our wins and mistakes, and all the little lessons we’ve learned along the way. Whether you’re a total beginner, a fellow artist, or just someone who thinks glass is cool (because it is), you’re welcome here.
